THE VAMPIRE BALL
ROBERTA: Now I'm going to whisk you around Friday night's vampire ball--it truly was amazing! Top left: See if you recognize two rather well-known mystery writers, Harley Jane Kozak and Alexandra Sokolof--I sure didn't! Top right: The ball brought out the "fangs" in fellow author Shane Gericke, pictured with our own Hank and Lisa Daily. The others are random costumes that I loved! Now Hank and Ro and I are off to Malice Domestic and Hallie to Ohio. I think Jan is in charge of holding the JR fort. Have a great weekend and don't forget to add a comment to be entered into the t-shirt drawing...
Hi- I finally made my way through the work that piled up while I was at RT and am delighted to find your blog. Hank and Roberta were great reps for your crew - but I hope to see the rest of you next year in Orlando - or any time in Oakmont (Pittsburgh) at Mystery Lovers Bookshop.
We had a nice event last week - got to see and meet some new authors, including your two - as well as Shane and other great people.
CONGRATULATIONS on the Best First Mystery Award, Hank - very sweet. One down!
Obviously we need another writers' conference,a joint mystery and romance writers venture. I suggest "Bullets & Bustiers." I really want to see some of those mystery guys in a bustier.
Writers can produce material across a number of genres, fictional or non-fictional. Other writers use multiple media for example, graphics or illustration to enhance the communication of their ideas.
